October's Book and Date

Hi everyone,

October's book will be Pledged by Alexandra Robbins. This is a non-fiction book about a reporter that goes undercover and makes friends with a mixture of sorority girls. I think this would bring up some interesting issues and hopefully spark some healthy debates.

I have picked Tuesday, October 8th for the date.  I will also be sending out an Evite in the next few days.

I am stumped and completely lost.  I have no motivation to pick up a book and read it.  So, I am asking for your help.  What are you reading in between book club books?  I need some ideas to help bring me out of my rut.

The Schedule

Hi everyone,

I thought we could assign the months now so we can get that out of the way. You don't have to pick the book yet, just the month. Just in case you don't know the months, I will post them below... just comment on this post what month you would like, once you comment that month is now claimed. So, basically first to comment gets that month. If, for any reason, the month you choose now does not work for you when it comes you can trade with someone. This is not written in stone.
